Smaller homes that are big on style

Updated: Jan 30, 2023

We are finding smaller, more efficient homes are on trend here on the Sunshine Coast. With families happy to sacrifice space, to live closer to work and our beautiful coastline.

There is also a greater awareness of the cost of operating big homes, that have more space to heat and cool, furnish and clean.

This tiny house movement drew our focus on designing a new range of PJ Burns Builder homes to be smarter and lighter with a smaller footprint. A range of small homes where every corner of the home is thoughtfully considered.

Smaller homes do not mean that you need to compromise on style, in fact, we believe it is the opposite. With shows like “Tiny House Nation” or ‘Living Small” on Netflix, & small home articles in the latest Real Living Magazine, there is plenty of inspiration for you to create you new modern and stylish lifestyle choice.

Parklakes 2 Bli Bli, is an established and thriving masterplanned community and has just released Stages 12, 13 and 14. The available blocks range from 354m2 Cottage Style Blocks, so there is plenty of opportunity to build your a thoughtfully designed family home.
